1. Who was your favorite character and why? Three sentences
The Baker is a very realistic character. He seems to know family needs and holds the struggle of adulthood, going through many trials such as raising a child and having his wife cheat on him. The cherry on top was him losing his wife to then have to take care of the rest of the characters at the end.
2. Which Actor did you like the best and why? Three sentences
The best actor in the show would have to have been the baker, as he was my brother. He did a great job in showing the struggles of life with great passion and motives. He wanted the best for everyone and was constantly punished for his positive actions on others.
3. Where was a moment you felt like you could see an actor trying to get what their character wanted? What verbs did they use? Two sentences and 3 verbs
The wolf, where he gets his motive, made a great notion of being a creepy pedophiliac showed his motives when trying to convince Little Red to "stay on her path" while also trying to seduce her. Three verbs would include enticing, intimidating and scaring.
4. What moment in the story resonated with you the most and why? Three sentences
The ending of the show where the baker needed to rebuild his life with many responsibilities was touching. He was left with nothing and had to take care of Cinderella, Little Red and Jack. Its the idea of the uncertainty of life and fate that really struck me. "Anything can happen in the woods" or "life" in general.
Your brother was the baker in a production of Into the Woods? I didn't know acting ran in your family, but that definitely makes sense! I feel like uncertainty is really resonating with me right now; we are all feeling pretty uncertain. Hopefully we can all be brave and make it out of the woods soon.
